STARR MODEL 1858 CIVIL WAR DOUBLE ACTION MARTIAL ARMY REVOLVER. STAR ARMS 1858 15961 44 Cal. 44. This is an honest example of popular Civil War dbl-action Starr revolver in standard configuration 6" rnd bbl with frame stamped "STARR ARMS CO NEW YORK" and "STARR'S PATENT JAN. 15, 1856" on opposite sides below. CONDITION: Metal is cleaned and grey overall with staining. All matching and orig, markings are all crisp and discernible with exception of inspector's cartouches which are light and only partially discernible. Grip is sound and solid with hand worn patina, edge wear and scattered small dings and dents. Mechanically gun functions well with crisp bright bore. 31377-14 JS (1,500-2,000)
