COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL .38 SUPER PISTOL WITH ORIGINAL BOX. COLT GOVERNMENT 15313 38 SUPER MODERN; C&R Cal. 38 Super. Bright nickel finish. Bbl is unmarked. Right slide is marked "Colt Super 38 Automatic" with Rampant Colt, left slide is marked Colt's standard address and patent marking. Slide stop, thumb safety, hammer, mainspring housing and trigger are all finely checkered. Upper left trigger guard bow has "W" over "VP", right upper trigger guard bow has "60", mag marked "Colt Super 38 Auto". Front sight is wide, round, rear sight is square notch. Stocks are full checkered walnut. Box is hinged leatherette with prancing pony inside top and Colt emblem on cover, with instruction sheet. CONDITION: Overall good. Slide right side is pitted on edge behind ejection port. Left slide pitting in the front and along bottom edge with large spot of pitting above USA. Front grip straps moderate pitting, mainspring housing slight pitting, butt edge dented and pitted. Box lower is sound all four corners, upper lid broken in two corners, weak in other two. 51176-11 KXK (1,500-2,500)
