COLT 1911A1 PISTOL MANUFACTURED IN 1944. COLT 1911 A1 1195339 45ACP MODERN; C&R Cal. 45 ACP. Front sight is a serrated ramp, rear sight proper notch, frame and slide properly "P" marked. Colt wide escutcheon ring stocks. Mag catch lock has bare metal finish on right side. Slide stop is checkered and has 1911 relief cut underneath. CONDITION: Orig bbl with heavy frosting on lands and grooves, light bluing wear. All parts appear to be Colt manufacture except C-S marked contract mag. All markings on slide and receiver appear fuzzy and indistinct, indicating re-finish. Front strap has several pits and dings that are re-finished over. Ordinance wheel, GHD acceptance marking re-finished over. Moderate finish wear on grip safety. Slide has scattered pitting that appears to be re-finished over. Stocks very good with no missing diamonds. Stocks screw slots are two wide on three screws indicating clean-up. Re-Parkerizing appears to have been partially removed on feed ramp. Overall a very nice looking re-finished 1911A1 Colt that at first glance appears to have orig finish. 51389-4 KXK (1,700-2,900)
