Inspected "GHD" for Guy H. Drewry. F marked Flannery bbl. Proper 2-pc plastic large ring Colt wood grips. Strong U.S. inspection ordinance wheel on right side with good British proof marks on back right of slide and back right of frame. A fine Lend Lease example. PROVENANCE: Gerard Ruth Collection, ex Alex Chauffe SR. CONDITION: Very fine overall condition, with slight finish wear at muzzle from storage or holster wear. High points of slide and frame show light use and thinning finish. Bore and mechanics are exceptional. Grip safety and mainspring housing finish is worn thin.
