LOT OF TWO POST-WAR COMMERCIAL WALTHER CUTAWAYS, P38 STYLE, WITH CASES.WALTHERP1NSN9MMMODERN; C&RCal. 9mm. 5" bbl. This is a P1 model, post-war commercial gun. Alloy frame. Slide, bbl, and frame are cutaway to show mechanism. Cutaway areas are highlighted with red paint. Aside from standard safety markings and part of A on left side of frame just behind takedown lever, this gun appears to be unmarked. Standard black plastic checkered grips. Standard post-war commercial Walther banner "P38 9mm" marked magazine. Accompanied by blue leatherette case. Walther banner on inside of lid on red satin lining. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Excellent condition throughout with minor handling marks. Alloy frame. Slide, frame, bbl, grips, and magazine are cut away to show internals. Cutaway parts highlighted with red paint. Cutaway magazine marked Walther banner "P38 9mm". Black plastic checkered grips. Accompanied by blue leatherette case, Walther banner marked on lid. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very fine, with light wear/handling marks on front of trigger guard. Light handling marks on grips. Good functioning order.
