LOT OF TOW DUAL TONE P-38 PISTOLS WITH HOLSTERS. MAUSER BYF 41 P38 3103e 9MM MODERN; C&R Cal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Marked "P.38", "byf/44" SN on left side of slide. WaA135 inspected. Matching numbers on bbl, slide, and frame. Black grips. Proper blued bbl with phosphate frame and slide. Non-standard issue. Further explained on p. 30, pictured on p. 33 of The P.38 Pistol, Vol. II by Warren Buxton. "P.38v" marked magazine. Accompanied by post-war black leather pebble grain holster. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Fine condition, showing finish wear on high points and sides of slide. Excellent bore. Matching SNs on frame, slide, and bbl. Proper blued bbl, phosphate slide and frame. Brown Bakelite grips. This gun is further explained on p. 35, pictured on p. 37 of The P.38 Pistol, Vol. II by Warren Buxton. "P.38v" magazine. Accompanied by black leather flap holster marked "?kk/44", "P.38". PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good with a good amount of orig finish showing honest wear, some areas of discoloration and minor surface rust. Markings are clear. Grips show light handling marks. Excellent bore.
