LOT OF THREE P38 PISTOLS WITH HOLSTERS. WALTHER/AC42 P38 3994b 9MM MODERN; C&R Cal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Marked on left side of slide "P.38", "ac/42", SN. Eagle "359" inspected. Matching numbers on frame, slide and bbl. Has unusual round pin at rear of frame below hammer, "M" marked on left side. Dark brown Bakelite grips. "P.38v", eagle "359" marked magazine. Brown leather flap holster marked on back "5567"/"P.38"/"jwa"/"4". PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Refinished. Light to moderate pitting on exterior bbl, sides of slide. Minor pitting on frame. Markings are clear. Grips fine with light handling marks. Bore worn with roughness. Good working order. Holster solid showing wear, markings clear, stitching solid with some pull through on flap, leather is weak on back at bottom. 51569-63 GER (1,250-1,750)
WALTHER P38 9259 9MM MODERN; C&R Cal. 9mm. 5" bbl. SN marked on front of bbl, left side of slide and left side of frame. East German "A.B."/"9" in wreath marking on left side of frame. Crown "N" mark on bottom of bbl. Brown Bakelite grips. "P.38" marked magazine. Unmarked worn black leather pebble grain flap holster. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: 1/4" crack in right side of slide. Otherwise good with finish wear on high points and grip straps. Possible arsenal refurbish. Good bore, strong rifling and roughness. Fine grips with light handling marks. Good working order. Holster solid with strong stitching, showing wear. 51569-367 GER (600-700)
WALTHER P38 16746 9MM MODERN; C&R; IMPORT Cal. 9mm. 5" bbl. SN marked on front of bbl, left side and top of slide and both sides of frame. Eagle/"359" proof on right side of bbl slide. Does not appear to have any other markings. Dark brown Bakelite grips. "P.38v"/"U" marked magazine. Unmarked brown leather flap holster. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good with finish wear on high points and grip straps. Some light pitting on sides of slide. Very minor surface rust in a few areas. Markings are clear. Bore good with roughness. Excellent working order. Grips very good showing some wear. Holster solid, stitching is good, slight flaking to inner flap and mag pocket. 51569-103 GER (200-300)
