Metal Jager zu Pferde style helmet with blued body, silver trim and tombak chinscales. Helmet has good form with only small dents in back of body and one scratch on back panel. No surface rusting. Interior has a leather flat tabbed enlisted style liner. Inner visors are not painted. No regimental or maker's marks. Helmet body is very light construction similar to officer quality helmets. Frontplate is a silver Prussian style dragoon eagle which is affixed to the body with metal nuts. Silver clover leaf spike base with smooth spike. Tombak chinscales on M94 hooks.
