JAPANESE TYPE 14 PISTOL WITH HOLSTER. NAMBU PATTERN 14 7877 8MM MODERN; C&R Cal. 8mm Nambu. 4-5/8" bbl. Very clean 1943 December manufactured by Nagoya. Visible numbers match except for mags which are 992 and 132. Pressed canvas hard holster with spare firing pin and cotton rag material in pouch included. PROVENANCE: The Frank H. Wheaton, III Collection. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish near excellent. Deep lusterous blue, with typical rotation scratch on left side from safety movement. Safety has not dug into wooden grip. Bore is extremely fine, as is holster. A very fine and collectible Japanese rig. 51517-82 JWK103 (800-1,200)
