LOT OF THREE PISTOLS INCLUDING WWII F.N. HIGH POWER, 1910 F.N., AND J.C. HIGGINS .22. FN HI-POWER 205514 9MM MODERN; C&R Cal. 9mm. Blue military finish with 4-3/4" bbl, fixed sights and rnd hammer spur with hole. Mounted with checkered walnut grips. Accompanied by one orig blue body, split base magazine. Left side of the slide and adjacent on the frame are marked with the WaA 140 Waffenampt mark along with a tiny spread winged eagle. Left front web of the trigger guard is stamped with a small "M". This pistol still has the magazine safety which was mostly disabled between 1940-1943. Most of these pistols usually saw hard service during the war and afterward and are rarely found today with high orig finish. PROVENANCE: The Frank H. Wheaton, III Collection. CONDITION: Very fine, all matching. Overall retains about 96-97% strong orig blue with only sharp edge wear and some minor thinning to the backstrap & heel. Grips are sound and show light diamond point wear. Mechanics are crisp. Strong, sharp bore dark in the grooves. 51517-19 JRL (4,500-5,500)

STUNNING FACTORY BLUE ENGRAVED FN 1910 PISTOL WITH GOLD TRIGGER AND ORIG MOTHER-OF-PEARL GRIPS. FN 1910 469477 32ACP MODERN; C&R Cal. 32. Fabulous prewar FN 1910, blue engraved with gold trigger and smooth mother-of-pearl grips. Standard configuration FN 1910 with small sights within knurled channel. Left side of slide with usual two-line legend referencing FN and Browning's patent right. Just below slide address is set of Belgian proofs that are repeated on adjacent frame. Additional proofs and cal are marked on bbl with full SN on right frame. Other than slide address and areas set aside for proofing and SN, virtually entire slide and most of sides of frame are covered in a lavish scroll. Subdued accents on the trigger guard, front strap, grip safety and magazine release. Fitted with gold plated trigger and smooth mother-of-pearl panels. Standard blued mag with FN logo and cal marked on right side. PROVENANCE: The Frank H. Wheaton, III Collection. CONDITION: At least 98% orig rust blue with minimal thinning of grip safety/mag release area of backstrap. Gold plating on trigger is at least 99% and mother-of-pearl grips present extremely well with only a small missing chip from the upper right corner of the right panel. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics though the slide will not stay open when safety is pushed up to engage the front retention notch. Regardless of this minor mechanical issue, one of the best factory engraved FN 1910 extant. 51517-79 LMA (5,000-8,500)

J.C. HIGGINS MODEL 80 SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. J.C. HIGGINS 80 569249 22LR MODERN; C&R Cal 22 LR. 6-1/2" trapezoid bbl, plain sights, full blue finish, 1-pc Bakelite grip with thumb rest & checkering. Left side of bbl shows caliber designation over "583.800". Left side of slide is marked "Model 80 J.C. Higgins" in a recess. SN appears on the right side of the slide toward the front and on the right side of the frame at the rear. Magazine is marked "HS" on the bottom right surface. PROVENANCE: The Frank H. Wheaton, III Collection. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl shows 90% bright blue with some muzzle wear and a few scratches on the bottom surface. Top of bbl is matte finished with a few scratches. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Slide also retains 95% plus bright blue finish on both sides with clear markings. Top of slide is also matte finished with a few scratches near the back sight. Frame is matte finished and shows minor high point wear and a few scratches on the trigger guard. Grip is good and shows cleaning overall. Left side of grip is heavily marred on the bottom half. Magazine retains almost all of the blue finish. These pistols were made by Hi-Standard on contract for Sears & Roebuck Co. 51517-105 TEP (500-800)
