EXCITING LOT OF THREE MILITARY HANDGUNS OF WWI FAME. STEYR MODEL 1907 27700 9MM MODERN; C&R Cal. 9 mm Steyr. 5" bbl. Budapest marking on top of bbl shroud. Rust blue finish overall. The first successful double action automatic pistol to ever see military service. Later pattern with large pin visible on right side of frame. Austrian date and property marking of 1913 on back of frame with two piece grooved wood grips complete with hardshell flap holster dated 1912 with apparent capture markings on back by a Mr. Markey Frank with a US Service Number 3359260 with the previous owner Militarintdk Ed. Rotter dated 1914. PROVENANCE: The Frank H. Wheaton, III Collection. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine with only slight traces of edge wear at base of lanyard loop and high points and edges of bbl shroud, muzzle and rear of ejector port. Bore and mechanics are exceptional. Holster, while having some loose stitching at ammunition carrier and missing stitches on rear of flap. Leather is supple, however does have slight scuffing and distress consistent with age. A very fine rig and would be hard to improve upon. 51517-67 TDW (3,000-4,500)

PLUS ULTRA AVIATOR 16222 32 ACP MODERN; C&R Cal. 32 ACP with unusual extended grip frame and high capacity double stacked magazine with the capacity of approximately 20 rounds. Manufacture marking and label "Plus ultra" with a set of aviator''s wings and prop on left hand side of slide with Spanish proofs on back left of frame and magnificent horn grips with the same wing with crossed prop logo on both sides. A very rarely seen firearm, often seen in pictures but rarely in person. PROVENANCE: The Frank H. Wheaton, III Collection. CONDITION: Good overall with most metal finish having turned plum with areas of finish loss on approximately 2/3''s of gun with balance having turned to a dove gray. Magazine is well intact, mechanics and bore seem to be fine when manually operated. 51517-80 TDW (1,000-2,000)

HUSQVARNA MODEL 1907 43180 380ACP MODERN; C&R Cal. .380ACP. 5" bbl. Very high quality and attractive, not to mention rare Husqvarna pistol with orig leather holster and three mags total. Typical maker's name on left side with orig logo hard rubber grips and lanyard ring at left side. PROVENANCE: The Frank H. Wheaton, III Collection. CONDITION: Overall appearance extremely fine to near excellent as refinished over what appears to be fine bead blasting, giving it a matte feel. Grip screw shows slight evidence of turning with only some slight wear to the grip panels. Bore is excellent, shiny and bright. Holster is extremely fine with some green verdigris at brass fastener. 51517-87 JWK109 (500-1,000)
