DWM FIRST MILITARY CONTRACT PRODUCTION RUN P-08 LUGER DWM P-08 LUGER 8659L 9MM MODERN; C&R Cal. 9mm. Initial production run specimen with no chamber date. Visible numbers appear all matching with forced matched takedown plate and unnumbered wood based magazine. Toggle hold open broken and non-functional. Left grip numbered 59. Right grip large number 02. Imperial proof mark on left side of frame. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish extremely fine and near excellent as refinished. Overall some light scratches and pitting. Remnants of straw on takedown latch and trigger. Magazine is a gray brown patina. Bore is strong and bright with frosting strong rifling.
