VERY FINE WALTHER AC44 P38 PISTOL WITH HOLSTER.WALTHERP381659i9MMMODERN; C&RCal. 9mm. 5" bbl marked "P.38", SN and "ac44" on left side of slide. Eagle 359 inspector's marks. Matching numbers on slide, frame, and bbl. Brown Bakelite grips. This gun is described on p. 252, pictured p. 253 in The P.38 Pistol, Vol. I by Warren Buxton. "jvd" marked magazine. Accompanied by black leather flap holster marked "cey/4", eagle swastika, WaA920, "P38" on back. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very fine retaining most of its orig finish with some wear on the high points. Excellent grips with a light scratch on left grip. Excellent bore. Excellent working order.
