MASSIVE WWII WALTHER STAINLESS STEEL DOUBLE BARREL FLARE GUN.WALTHERFLARE120127MMCal. 27mm. Double action only dated 1939. High quality, imposing dbl bbl flare gun with 9" bbls, wood forearm and grips. Ferritic stainless steel metal parts, Walther address and banner. Eagle proof mark on right side of frame with faint eagle over "M" proof on left side. Navy property # on rear of handgrip. Bbl selector switch for firing LH & RH bbls with center position for "Doppel Schuss". Loaded chamber indicators on frame to the rear of each bbl. CONDITION: Extremely fine, near excellent condition with some noticeable scratches and about 6 dings on underside exterior of left bbl with a noticeable gash at muzzle of left bbl, and somewhat lesser ding at 5:00 position, same bbl. Wood is extremely fine. Slight discoloration at chamber mouth of RH ferritic stainless steel bbl. 51545-1 JWK116 (1,500-2,500)
