FINE COLT MODEL 1917 DA REVOLVER. COLT 1917 209786 45ACP MODERN; C&R Cal 45 ACP. Army Model with military brush blue finish. It has 5-1/2" bbl, orig front sight and fixed groove rear sight in the top strap. Bbl has standard markings with the Rampant Colt trademark on the side plate. It has an inspector mark on top left rear of frame. Buttstrap has a lanyard swivel & standard U.S. Army Model 1917 markings along with the Army SN "56159". Mounted with 2-pc smooth walnut grips. CONDITION: Extremely fine plus. Appears to be new and unfired with only a light cylinder line and some discoloration on the bright sides of the hammer. Backstrap is slightly dulled with one small thin spot. Left grip has some small chatter marks and overall grips retain most of their orig oil finish. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bore. 51389-5 JRL (1,500-2,500)
