EARLY INLAND M1 CARBINE SET UP WITH T-3 INFRARED SCOPE.US CARBINE M1M1 CARBINE284030 CARBINEMODERN; C&R; IMPORTCal. .30 Carbine. Import marked on underside of bbl and retaining ghost of removed Korean stock markings on buttstock with "I" cut, high wood at charging handle, and 4 rivet hand guard. Push button safety and flat bolt. This early 4 digit carbine with its T-3 scope is a rare find. In addition to the infrared scope marked SN M3.9854.51 on data plate at right side the filter lens is intact. Included is a photocopy of an orig February 1962 technical manual as well as an orig GI case with power pack and battery pack. One spare bulb is also included, as well as orig cables. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish very good. About 85% finish remaining on metal parts, thinning and starting to patina. Wood has numerous dings and handling marks and a couple of chips but still serviceable. One retaining bolt and nut not present at lamp actuating grip. Cable casing cracking and starting to fray. Infrared scope not tested. Lenses appear in good uncracked condition. Very scarce and collectible specimen for the U.S. military collector. 51389-27 JWK129 (2,750-3,750)
