PRIME COLLECTOR'S LOT OF QUALITY HARDWARE MFG. AND ROCK-OLA WWII M1 CARBINES. US CARBINE M1 CARBINE 1653179 30 MODERN; C&R Cal. 30M1. 18" bbl dated 5-43. 2 piece walnut stocks with all metal component parts finished in grey/green phosphate finish. Butt stock is strongly marked with ordnance wheel inspection and Q-RMC in sling slot. Hand Guard is marked the same. Internal parts properly marked for Quality Hardware Mfg, and has all early features including but not limited to, flip sight, push button safety, unmarked magazine release, type 1 narrow band, and high wood. Complete with period cotton web sling and oiler. CONDITION: Outstanding overall condition with virtually no indication of use. Wood is properly oil finish with no distress and all marking crisp and sharp. All metal is exceptionally fine with only light traces of minor use and has only the slightest loss of finish on top rear of flat bolt and top of barrel under the wood line. This is a exceptionally fine example of the un-modified or up-graded carbine. No evidence of restoration just a top condition example. 51389-29 TDW (2,500-5,000)
US CARBINE, M1 ROCK-OLA M1 CARBINE 4590262 30 MODERN; C&R Cal. 30M1. 18" barrel marked "ROCK-OLA" but is not dated. Metal component parts are grey/green phosphate finish. 2 piece walnut stocks are traditional oil fished with "RMC" inspection lightly evident in stock and hand guard is marked the same. Internal parts have many early features including but not limited to, push button safety, unmarked magazine release. and type one narrow band. Verification of Rock-Ola parts appears all correct, but not guaranteed. High wood stock with 2 rivet hand guard. Complete with period web sling and oiler. CONDITION: Very fine overall with evidence of lightly sanded stocks with a almost indeterminable crack repair to forearm on left side that is visible from inside only. Metal components are possibly arsenal refinished and would be understandable with the later round bolt and slide adjustable rear sight. 51389-30 TDW (2,500-5,000)
