WINCHESTER M1A1 PARATROOPER CARBINE WITH LARGE LOT OF ACCESSORIES.WINCHESTERM1A1 PARA TROOPER649754230 CALMODERN; C&RCal. 30. 18" bbl, folding Paratrooper stock with "IO" manufacturers mark in barrel channel. Grey/green phosphate finish metal components. Carbine is a post war assembled weapon with a combination of early and later parts. Trigger group is Winchester parts with early push button safety. Bolt is late round pattern and is Winchester. Operating rod is Winchester as is barrel. Hand guard is RS marked. Comes M3 flash hider and post WW2 cotton sling. Has 2 15 round and 1 3 round magazine with 1943 dated pouch. WWII 2 piece cleaning rod with GI case. Superb condition Atlas MFG 1943 dated Paratrooper holster case and Airborn padded drop case. Utica guard marked bayonet wM8A1 scabbard. CONDITION: Very good as rebuilt. Bore and mechanics are excellent. Phosphate finish is very good with aproxamately 80% remaining with finish loss on barrel behind front sight and high points. Stocks are very fine with good oil finish. Leather cheek pad is supple with no shrinkage or torn rivets.Bayonet has polished blade with slight rust spotting, scabbard is excellent.
