BEAUTIFUL AND VERY FINE SCRIMSHAWED HORN OF "WILLIAM DUNLAP 1771".This is a beautiful horn with great patina showing only light wear where it would have laid. Horn measures just over 14" on outside perimeter with a 2-1/2" base. Horn exhibits renditions of Westminster and St. Paul's Church in London. In a quite whimsical large panel is written the name and date "WILLIAM DUNLAP 1771". SIZE: CONDITION: Very fine well patinaed horn with few minor cosmetic scratches. This horn was carried as it is worn in about 1" x 1/2" area where it would have rubbed where hung from the well patinaed iron wire loop at base. 31377-33 JS (1,000-1,500)
