"DICKERT" SIGNED FULL STOCK KENTUCKY FLINTLOCK RIFLE. DICKERT 1792-1809 NSN 46 Cal. 46. 60-1/2" overall. 44-1/2" oct bbl with fixed rear sight. Brass mounted with single set trigger. Signed on top bbl flat is indiscernible signature which consignor states is "J DICKERT". Gun does have a Dickert Lancaster style patchbox. CONDITION: Good to very good overall as restored. Bbl has mottled brown/grey patina and reconverted from percussion to flint. Flint lock appears new addition and fully functional. Brass mounts are cleaned with a light mustard patina. Striped maple stock has hand worn patina and inset restoration around lock, trigger guard, bbl tang and lock escutcheon. 31377-8 JS (3,000-5,000)
