"JOHN YOUNG" SIGNED FULL STOCK KENTUCKY FOWLER.JOHN YOUNGPA LONGRIFLENSN50Cal. 50. 61-1/2" overall, 46" oct, slightly swamped smooth bore bbl, marked in script "John Young" on bbl flat behind fixed iron rear sight. Brass mounted including patchbox, inset brass blade front sight on post and star & crescent motif on cheekpiece. Lock is marked "BARNETT". CONDITION: Overall very good. Iron is dark with pitting, mottled brown/plum with bright area where signature on bbl is found as seen in photos. Stock is refinished with several repairs including inset wood professionally matched around lock. Brass has been cleaned with light mustard patina.
