LOT OF TWO REMINGTON U.S. MILITARY 30-06 RIFLES, ONE 1903, ONE 03A3 & BAYO. REMINGTON 1903 3129665 30-06 MODERN; C&R Cal. 30-06. 24" bbl. WWII production, 1942. 5-42 dated Remington bbl. Full C stock. "H.SAA" cartouche on left side of stock. Rectangle P on bottom of pistol grip. The right side of the stock appears to have been cut out for a receiver sight which has been filled in. The receiver is unmodified. CONDITION: Very good, with the majority of Parkerized finish. Lights dings and handling marks. All markings clear. Floor plate and rear band do not have any finish remaining. Stock is solid with minor dings and handling marks. Bore is dirty with sharp rifling. Trigger does not engage bolt. REMINGTON 1903-A3 3796474 30-06 MODERN; C&R Cal. 30-06. 24" bbl. Model 03-A3. 1943 production. 5-43 dated bbl. Left side of stock has "RA", "FJA", "OG" cartouches. Circle P firing proof behind trigger guard. Orig front sight hood. Brown leather military style sling appears to be unmarked. Accompanied by greasy Union Cutlery 1942 bayonet in proper scabbard. Blade is 15-3/4" long. Markings are clear. CONDITION: Fine, retaining most of the orig Parkerized finish. All markings clear. Stock has hairline crack on right side extending from rear of receiver 6" forward. Stock is otherwise very good with light handling marks. Four groove rifling is bright and sharp. Mechanics are fine. Bayonet retains most of the Parkerized finish on the blade. No evidence of sharpening. Markings are clear. Grips are fine. Locking button works well.
