COLT ACE PISTOL WITH RARE MATCH GRADE BARREL, NUMBERED BOX AND ALL ACCESSORIES. COLT ACE 9834 22LR MODERN; C&R Cal. 22LR. 4 3/4" bbl. marked "Colt Ace .22 Match" on bottom. Slide right marked "COLT", "ACE" in diamond, ".22LONG/RIFLE". Slide left marked with Colt standard patent address and Rampant Colt to rear. Right upper trigger guard bow marked with "60" final assembler. Left upper trigger guard bow marked "4" final inspector over verified proof. Frame has 1911A1 type finger cutouts and short milled checkered trigger. Hammer is wide spur checkered. Grip safety is long tang. Mainspring housing is arched checkered. Thumb safety is milled checkered. Slide stop is checkered. Magazine catch is checkered. Stocks are full checkered walnut. Magazine is two tone, all steel early type with polished base marked "COLT", "ACE" in diamond, ".22LR". Accompanied by purple Colt box with matching SN written on bottom in pencil, bore brush, fine brush for cleaning firing pin hole, sight tool, target and yellow tag. CONDITION: Fine. Stock screws are excellent. Left stock shows damage around upper screw. Magazine in near new condition but with some finish deterioration to baseplate. Front grip strap shows moderate erosion and scratches. Mainspring housing shows considerable finish erosion, as does rear edge of receiver. Slide shows moderate wear on edges and muzzle. Left side shows pinprick pitting over front portion. Right side shows scattered pinprick erosion. Overall, slide and frame show 92% orig finish remaining. Pistol appears to be all orig. Slide firing pin stop plate was not disassembled due to difficulty in reassembly. Mechanics are crisp. Box is sound but lid has broken rear corner and broken front corner with edge erosion. Tool is for adjusting sight in good condition. Bore brush is in functional condition.
