FINE GROUP OF TEN AMERICAN WWII FIGHTING KNIVES AND BOLOS.

1918 dated model 1917 bolo by "PLUMB" in 1945 dated U.S.M.C. sheath. SIZE: CONDITION: Very good overall. Blade retains much of its orig WWII re-parkerized finish, scabbard very good to fine overall. 52646-19 JS (600-800)

Fine U.S.M.C. hospital corpsman''s knife made and marked by "CHATILLON N.Y." in 1945 dated "USMC BOYT" sheath. SIZE: CONDITION: Very good to fine overall. 11-3/8" blade is gray/bright with old sharpening marks still retaining some orig luster, scattered pitting. Accompanying sheath is fine overall. 52646-22 JS (175-250)

3 surplus like new "CATTARAUGUS 225 Q" commando fighting knives, each in brown leather sheaths with snap closure. SIZE: CONDITION: Very fine - extremely fine overall. Blades retain virtually all their orig luster. Leather disc grips are sound with several discs slightly askew. Accompanying sheaths are overall very good to fine with scuffing and craquelure especially to snap ring closures. 52646-23 JS (250-400)

2 fine "PAL" RH36 commando knives in leather sheaths. SIZE: CONDITION: One knife retains virtually all its orig re-parkerized finish with complete matching sheath in matching fine condition. Second knife has sharpening marks still retaining 80% parkerized finish. Sheath lacks snap tab closure. 52646-24 JS (200-400)

"DISSTON U.S. 1943" marked U.S.M.C machete, 23" overall, 18" blade. Accompanying machete is a 1942 dated "SCHELL LEATHER GOODS CO" sheath. SIZE: CONDITION: Fine overall. Hard rubber grip is complete and sound. Blade retains about 90% dark finish with sharpened blade. Accompanying sheath is fine. Appears surplus but orig made for longer blade. 52646-25 JS (100-200)

1918 dated model 1917 "PLUMB, ST. LOUIS" marine bolo in 1945 dated sheath. SIZE: CONDITION: Good to very good overall as re-parkerized in WWII with heavy sharpening and weathered wood grips. Sheath is very good overall. 52646-20 JS (100-200)

Fine U.S.M.C. hospital corpsman''s knife made and marked by "THE CLYDE CUTLERY CO" in 1943 dated "USMC BOYT" sheath. SIZE: CONDITION: Very fine overall. 11-1/4" blade is crisply marked, mostly bright with small areas of staining and sharpening marks at tip. Accompanying sheath is complete well marked and fine. 52646-21 JS (100-200)
