ATTIC CONDITION WWI ERFURT 1918 P08 LUGER PISTOL WITH HOLSTER.ERFURTP088375B9MMW/HOLSTER , TOOLS, EXTRA MAGMODERN; C&RCal. 9mm. 4" bbl. Rust blue finish overall with crown over block letters "ERFURT" on forward toggle. Dated 1918 over chamber. Traditional Erfurt inspections on right side of receiver as well as imperial property markings on trigger guard, bbl and receiver. 2-pc walnut stocks with faded straw finish control levers and trigger. White stitch clam shell holster with later WWII Third Reich inspection. With both wood base nickeled magazine and aluminum based later production blue steel magazine. CONDITION: Very good overall condition, with most all finish remaining. Slight corrosion exists on front strap of grip, as does traces of mold in checkered grips. Only slight finish loss found at muzzle, backstrap and high points of sights and bottom of magazine well. Bore is surprisingly bright and sharp, however, needs a diligent cleaning. Detailed disassembly reveals that all numbers found are matching with exception of magazines. Mechanics functioning. Holster is solid with good stitching but has traces of mold from not having been handled in a great while. A really nice attic find that should clean up very well. 52612-4 TDW (1,500-2,000)
