SCARCE WALTHER P38 COPPER FINISH PISTOL WITH HOLSTER.WALTHERP38243709MMHOLSTERMODERN; C&RCal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Scarce experimental copper-colored finish. Marked on left side of slide Walther banner, "Waffenfabrik Walther, Zella-Mehlis (Thur.) / Walther's Patent Cal. 9m/m", "Mod. P38". Eagle N proof on right side of slide, frame, bbl and lock. Eagle "359" proof on left bbl lug. Matching SNs on slide, frame and bbl. SN of slide located on top right side. Brown Bakelite grips. "P.38v", eagle "359" marked magazine. Comes with "jwa / 4", "P.38" marked black leather flap holster. CONDITION: Very good with most of the finish. Light pinprick pitting and surface rust on bbl, trigger guard, grip strap, slide and frame. Markings clear. Mechanics are fine. Bore has strong rifling with areas of roughness and light pitting. Holster is solid with strong stitching and light scuff marks. Leather is soft and pliable. 52390-2 GER (2,500-3,500)
