LOT OF TWO WALTHER POSTWAR COMMERCIAL P38 PISTOLS IN CASES, ONE .22LR, ONE 9MM. WALTHER P38 313439 5.6MM MODERN Cal. 22LR. 5" bbl. Standard two line marking left side of slide. Right side of slide marked "12/66". All external numbers match. Alloy frame. Dated 68 on left trigger guard web. Made in West-Germany. Checkered black plastic grips. Missing lanyard staple on left side. Proper mag. Accompanied by dark blue leatherette case, banner Walther marked on red satin interior lid lining. Gun is photographed without mag inserted. One mag total with this gun. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Very good, showing light handling marks. All markings clear. Grips are very good with light handling marks. Bore is fine, bright with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Covering to case is peeling along back edge, tear at top of left lid edge.
