Right side of frame marked "Made in West-Germany". All external numbers match. Alloy frame. Checkered black plastic grips. Banner Walther P38 marked mag. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Fine condition, with light finish wear on high points and minor handling marks. All markings clear. WALTHER P1 9MM PISTOL WITH HOLSTER. WALTHER P1 020922E 9MM MODERN; C&R Cal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Standard two line marking on left side of slide. Right side of slide marked "3/66". 68 date on left trigger guard web. All external numbers match. Alloy frame. Marked on right side of frame "Made in West-Germany", two illegible circle proofs stamped over country marking. Black plastic checkered grips. Proper P1 marked mag. Accompanied by black leather West German police holster, dated 10/62. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Fine condition, with light handling marks, minor surface rust on bbl. All markings clear, except where noted. Grips show light handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Black plastic checkered grips. Accompanied by 6/72 dated black leather German police marked holster. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Very good, showing wear and handling marks consistent with use. All markings clear. Grips have numerous dings and handling marks. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. WALTHER P38 9MM PISTOL. WALTHER P38 1085 9MM MODERN; C&R; IMPORT Cal. 9mm. 5" bbl. This gun has at some point undergone a postwar arsenal refurbish. We do not know where. Code, model, and proof marks all ground off slide. Slide number appears orig. Orig number on front of bbl and left side of frame have been ground off, matching number applied. Eagle 359 inspected on frame and bbl. Does not appear to have any foreign markings. Brown Bakelite grips. Postwar banner Walther P38 mag. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Very fine as arsenal refurbished. Light handling marks. Fine grips. Bore is worn with moderate pitting.
