COLLECTOR'S LOT OF THREE CYQ SPREEWERKE P-38 PISTOLS. SPREEWERKE P38 8126Z 9MM MODERN; C&R Cal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Standard markings. Matching SN on slide, frame and bbl. Chocolate Bakelite grips. Eagle 359 marked mag. This gun is described on pg. 153, pictured pg. 156 of The P38 Pistol vol. 2 by Warren Buxton. Gun is accompanied by a black leather flap holster marked on back "WaA703"/"RZM" in circle/"M7/52". PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Very good condition with finish wear on high points and front strap. All markings clear. Grips are fine with light handling marks. Bore is good with minor pitting, strong rifling. Chocolate Bakelite grips. "jvd" marked mag. This gun is explained on p. 147, pictured on p. 151 of The P38 Pistol, Vol. II by Warren Buxton. Accompanied by black leather flap holster marked on back "joa/1943", "P38". PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Very good condition, showing finish wear on front strap and high points. Slight finish discoloration at top chamber end of bbl. Markings are clear. Grips are fine with minimal handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Holster is solid with light handling marks. Strong stitching. There appears to have been a proof mark on the left side of the frame after Eagle 88 proof which has been removed. Matching numbers on slide, frame and bbl. Black Bakelite grips. Unmarked mag. This gun is described on pg. 147, pictured on pg. 150 of The P38 Pistol vol. 2 by Warren Buxton. Gun is accompanied by black leather flap holster, marked on back "ewx/1944", "P.38". CONDITION: Gun is in fine condition with some dings and finish wear on top right side of slide, finish wear on high points. Grips are fine with minimal handling marks.
