COLLECTOR'S LOT OF THREE P-38 PISTOLS. WALTHER P38 9185I 9MM MODERN; C&R; IMPORT Cal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Standard two line mark left side of slide. Austrian eagle BH mark after SN on left side of frame. Steel frame. Matching SN's on bbl and frame. Left side of bbl WaA135 proofed. Checkered black plastic grips. Banner Walther P38 marked mag. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Very good, with finish wear on high points and front strap. All markings clear. Grips have light dings and handling marks. Bore has light to moderate pitting with good rifling. 52342-128 GER (700-1,000)
SPREEWERKE CYQ P38 AUSTRIAN BH MARKED 9MM PISTOL WITH HOLSTER. SPREEWERKE P38 35102H 9MM MODERN; C&R; IMPORT Cal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Standard markings on left side of slide. Left side of frame is eagle 88 inspected, marked with Austrian eagle BH. Eagle 88 inspected on slide and frame. The 2 at the end of the SN is most likely an arsenal addition. Matching SN's on slide, frame and bbl. Left grip is chocolate Bakelite, right grip is black Bakelite. "16" is painted in white on left grip at top, orange painted spot below it. Postwar banner Walther P38 marked mag. Accompanied by black leather 1943 dated clam shell holster. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Good, as arsenal refurbished. Finish wear on high points with handling marks. All markings clear. Grips are good, with dings and handling marks. Bore has very light pitting with strong rifling. Mechanics are fine. Holster has been re-dyed, shows wear, strong stitching. 52342-129 GER (300-400) Holster
SPREEWERKE P38 9MM PISTOL. SPREEWERKE P38 5641 9MM MODERN; C&R; IMPORT Cal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Left side of slide marked ac/43, SN. Remnant of P38 marking is barely legible due to heavy pitting. Matching number to slide stamped on left side of bbl. Non matching orig number on front of bbl lug. Left side of lug is eagle 359 inspected. Eagle 88 inspected frame. Number on frame does not match either slide or bbl numbers. Eagle 135 inspected mag has non matching number stamped on floorplate. Left grip is black Bakelite, right grip is black plastic. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Poor condition. Bare traces of orig finish. Moderate to heavy pitting. Markings weak due to pitting. Grips are fine with light handling marks. Bore is poor, heavily worn, pitted, only traces of rifling. Mechanics need attention. 52342-130 GER (100-200)
