LOT OF THREE WALTHER P38 9MM PISTOLS, ONE MOD. HP, TWO POSTWAR. WALTHER HP 2877 9MM MODERN; C&R; IMPORT Cal. 9mm. 5" bbl. Mod. HP. Austrian eagle BH on left side of frame. This gun is a postwar rework. Orig markings on left side of slide partially removed during refurbish, model marking clear. Eagle N proof on right side of slide, locking block and frame. Orig SN on top right flat of slide and right side of frame. Austrian stamped matching SN on right side of slide. All external numbers match. Replacement contract bbl with matching number. Chocolate Bakelite grips. "P38v/U." marked mag has been refinished with a green color. This gun is described on p. 73, pictured p. 74 of The P.38 Pistol, Vol. III by Warren Buxton. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Very good as refurbished. Finish wear on high points and edges. Minor dings along edges of trigger guard. Handling marks. Marks clear, except where otherwise noted. Grips have light handling marks. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Mechanics are fine. 52342-126 GER (1,200-1,500)

Alloy frame. Matching SN's on slide, frame and bbl. Checkered black plastic grips. Banner Walther P38 Parkerized mag marked on spine "12-120-0892", "8/63". PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Fine, showing light handling marks, most of the orig finish. All markings clear. Grips have light scratches and handling marks. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. 52342-140 GER (300-400)

Alloy frame. Checkered black plastic grips. Banner Walther P38 marked mag. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Good, showing thinning to black anodized finish on bottom surfaces of frame, front strap. Finish wear on high points with handling marks. All markings clear.
