VERY FINE WALTHER MODEL 2 BOLT AUTO .22 RIFLE. WALTHER MODEL 2 9389 22 MODERN; C&R Cal. 22. 24-1/2" bbl. Standard markings. Crown BUG proofs right side of bbl. Slide safety at rear of receiver. All external numbers match. Proper mag. Checkered wrist. Plastic buttplate. PROVENANCE: Session Two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton collection. CONDITION: Very fine with virtually all of the finish. Some slight discoloration at top rear edge of receiver, with very minor handling marks. Markings are crisp and clear. Stock is fine with sharp checkering. Some minor dents in right side, light handling marks. Buttplate is cracked on either side. Bore is bright with sharp rifling.
