COLLECTOR'S LOT OF THREE WALTHER MODEL 2 BOLT AUTO .22 RIFLES NEEDING WORK. WALTHER MODEL 2 38667 22 MODERN; C&R Cal. 22. 24-1/2" bbl. Standard markings. Slide safety at rear of receiver. Has four drilled and tapped holes on top. All external numbers match. No mag. Stock is broken through wrist. Missing buttplate. PROVENANCE: Session Two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton collection. CONDITION: Fair condition. All markings clear. Bbl has been cleaned at some point with light rust and areas of pitting. Stock is broken. Bore has sharp rifling. WALTHER MOD 1 12152 22 MODERN; C&R Cal. 22. 20-1/2" bbl. Standard markings. Crown BUG proof right side of bbl. All external numbers match. Flip rear sight. Missing front sight. Slide safety at rear of receiver. Missing front stock screw, rear screw is an incorrect replacement. Accompanied by spare proper stock. PROVENANCE: Session Two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton collection. CONDITION: Fair, showing considerable finish wear, light pitting on bbl. Receiver may have been refinished at some point. Markings are legible. Stock is worn with numerous dings and scratches, 1-3/4" crack on bottom extending forward to mag well. Cracked between rear of trigger guard and stock screw. Buttplate is worn and cracked. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Mechanics need attention: Action at fault, most likely missing parts. Spare stock is very good with dings and handling marks. 1/2" crack on right side at rear of trigger guard cutout. Factory filled in knot on bottom of stock, and bottom of grip. Missing front stock screw, rear screw is incorrect replacement. PROVENANCE: Session Two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton collection. CONDITION: Fair, showing heavy wear. Markings are clear. Stock is worn but solid. 6" crack on left side at front. Buttplate is cracked. 1-1/4" crack in wrist extending down on left side from tang. Bore is very good with strong rifling and some pitting. Mechanics need attention: Bolt action appears to be missing spring for use as semi-auto. 52342-160 GER (50-200)
