PROTOTYPE AND PATENT MODEL PISTOLS LOT OF TWO.PROTO TYPEOLYMPIA PATTERNNSN22MODERNCal. .22. Prototype or toolroom developmental mock-up believed to be of the Erma or Walther Olympia pistols. 4-1/2" bbl, exposed hammer sgl action operation with 10 rnd mag capacity. Firearm is in the white and very crudely resembles the exposed hammer variation of the 1936 Olympia. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Typical toolroom example having never been finished with many machine marks and was probably strictly a composite example for pre-production development. Obviously, not a functioning firearm thereby sold "as is". 52342-152 TDW (1,000-1,500)

Walther Prototype nsn 22 Walther wooden toolroom or patent model mock-up believed to be for the development of the P-99 type pistols being internally striker fired and obviously dbl action design. Wooden patent models are of the rarest of all collectibles in the developmental studies of firearms. Made of hardened maple, measuring 8" overall l and 5-1/4"h. Obvious design for a dbl stack mag in the 12-15 rnd range depending on diameter. Several small non-ferrous metal components exist inside such as a bbl trunnion and trigger guard pin. PROVENANCE: Session two of the extraordinary Warren Buxton Collection. CONDITION: Very fine with wood having been very heavily dried in a possible kiln. Very fragile due to its construction and is missing one grip screw in base. 52342-174 TDW (1,500-2,000)
