GORGEOUS HIGH ORIGINAL CONDITION A.H. FOX AE GRADE 12 GAUGE SHOTGUN.A. H. FOXAE2639312GAMODERN; C&RCal. 12 ga. 30" Chromox Fluid steel bbls. 2-5/8" chambers. Chokes full/mod. Full length matted top rib with steel front bead. No. 2 weight bbls. Dbl triggers, automatic safety. Round knob pistol grip buttstock checkered in 2-point pattern with 14-1/8" LOP over lined HRBP. Splinter forearm with Deeley release checkered in 2-point pattern. Receiver engraved in typical late AE pattern and marked "Ansley H. Fox" on sides. All visible SN's match. WEIGHT: 7 lbs, 4 oz. PROVENANCE: The Larry Kelley estate collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Metal condition of this gun is extraordinary, bbls retain virtually all of their factory orig blued finish, as does trigger guard. Receiver retains virtually all of its bold orig case color. Breechface appears unmarred indicating this as a test fired only Fox. Buttstock and forearm are orig though a heavy high gloss finish has been added over the orig finish and there are only very minor handling marks visible. Bores are brilliant and shiny.
