GORGEOUS EARLY PARKER BROTHERS C GRADE LIFTER 10 GAUGE HAMMER SHOTGUN.PARKERC LIFTER600510GACal. 10 ga. 32" Damascus bbls. Chambered for brass. Full length Damascus top rib with brass front bead. Unstruck bbl weight of 5 lbs, 11 oz. Dbl triggers, extractor, no safety. Gorgeous round knob pistol grip buttstock checkered in fancy flowing early C pattern with tear drop behind lockplates and silver shield behind top tang with 14-1/4" LOP over skeleton steel plate. Splinter forearm with wedge fastener is nicely diamond and point checkered with engraved elongated steel tip. All visible SN's match. Receiver is beautifully engraved most likely by Jacob Glahn and features setters on left, pointers on right, surrounded by beautiful deep cut scroll engraving and game scene. Bottom of frame with pheasant and geometrical design and scroll engraving. Fences are beautifully sculpted in C grade flowing point pattern. Top of frame with scroll and geometric design. Bore diameter: left -.825, right – .830. Bore restrictions: left – .041, right – .044. Wall thickness: left – .030, right – .025. Drop at heel: 2-7/8", drop at comb: 2-1/16". WEIGHT: 9 lbs, 10 oz. CONDITION: Very good and appears completely honest. Bbls retain 60-70% well defined Damascus pattern. Buttstock and forearm are excellent with scattered scratches and handling marks, retaining most of their orig finish, checkering lightly chased long ago and perhaps some finish added for preservation. Stocks appear totally sound. Receiver retains 60-70% orig case color, quite good on locks, toned on bottom of frame. Trigger guard between 70-80% high polish blue. Skeleton buttplate with about 30% orig blue. Bores are excellent with evidence of dent repair and a minor bulge in right tube approximately 7" from muzzle. Mechanics are crisp. Overall an outstanding early high grade Parker which would be difficult to improve upon. 52194-5 JSL (5,000-8,000)
