SCARCE PARKER BROS DHE GRADE 20 GAUGE SHOTGUN.PARKERDHE17088020GAMODERN; C&RCal. 20 ga. 28" Titanic steel bbls. 2-3/4" chambers. Full length matted top rib with usual bbl address and steel front bead. "0" frame. Dbl triggers, automatic ejectors, automatic safety. Straight grip buttstock checkered in 3-point pattern with teardrop behind action with 14-1/4" LOP over orig SSBP. Splinter forearm checkered in typical DHE pattern with engraved Deeley release and steel tip. Receiver is engraved in standard DHE pattern with pointer on left, setter on right, birds in flight on bottom all surrounded by standard Parker scroll. All visible SN's match. WEIGHT: 6 lbs, 1 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, as restored, most likely by Remington as repair code "KK" is noted on bbl flat, May 1963. Bbls retain approximately 97% of an expert restored blue finish. Receiver retains virtually all of its likely Remington reproduced Cyanide case color. Buttstock and forearm are very good with scattered light handling marks and hunting bumps and there is some minor fabric impressions noted on butt and forearm in finish. Buttplate retains approximately 70% of it's restored blue finish as does trigger guard. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are crisp.
