GORGEOUS HIGH ORIGINAL CONDITION PARKER GH 16 GAUGE SHOTGUN ON A "0" FRAME WITH DAMASCUS BARRELS.PARKERGH8816316GACal. 16 ga. 28" Damascus bbls. Full length matted top rib and steel front bead. 2-1/2" chambers. "0" frame. Dbl triggers, extractors, automatic safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock checkered in 3-point pattern, engraved nickel shield near toe with 14-3/8" LOP over crisp orig Parker Bros. DHBP. Nickel shield engraved in nice script "De C. L. H". Splinter forearm with Deeley release and steel tip checkered in typical GH pattern. Receiver is engraved with two birds on each side surrounded by light typical early Parker scroll. All visible SN's match. WEIGHT: 6 lbs, 2 ozs. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl retains virtually all of their gorgeous bold and vivid orig Damascus pattern. Receiver retains approximately 90% orig case color, particularly nice on right side and bottom, somewhat muted on left and was obviously never very bold there. Generous orig blue remains on hinge pin. Trigger guard blue has mostly flaked on bow and about 35% remains at tang. Buttstock and forearm are excellent with scattered minor impressions and handling marks and there is a small loss in butt at toe. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are crisp. Forearm metal retains most of its orig case color. Breechface shows only minor evidence of shell ring and this is a very well cared for Parker. 52419-5 JSL (4,500-7,000)
