RARE PARKER GH GRADE 10 GAUGE SHOTGUN WITH STEEL BARRELS WITH PGCA LETTER.PARKERG20348810W/CASEMODERN; C&RCal. 10 ga. 34" Parker Special Steel bbls. 3" chambers. Intriguing full length matted top rib with special order inscription which is noted on the factory letter "H.R. Little 1923". No. 3 frame with un-struck bbl weight of 5lbs 14oz. Double triggers, extractor, automatic safety. Capped pistol grip buttstock with checkered side panels in 3-point pattern with 13-1/2" LOP over modern Red Head pad. Splinter forearm with Deeley release and steel tip in std G grade pattern. Receiver is engraved in typical GH pattern with the exception of ducks in all three panels. Bottom of stock with nickel shield inscribed "H.McLeod Halifax N.S". According to The Parker Story this is one of 7 produced in this configuration. Housed in an early full leather VL&D New York marked leg o' mutton case. Accompanied by a PGCA letter confirming production of this gun and original specs. WEIGHT: 9lbs 14 oz. CONDITION: Good. This gun has seen many days in the duck blind. Bbls retain about 50% of their orig blued finish with scattered freckling. Receiver has turned gray with no orig case color remaining. Buttstock, which has been repaired at cheeks and with old repair through wrist (still visible) is fair as refinished, checkering thinned and rounded losses at toe, and around trigger guard and trigger plate with some filler visible. Mechanics are functional. Bores are good with beginning pitting ahead of chambers. A very rare configuration with an incredibly rare rib inscription.
