WINCHESTER MODEL 70 PRE WWII BOLT ACTION CARBINE. WINCHESTER 70 CARBINE 21294 30-06 MODERN; C&R Cal. 30-06. Proper 20" carbine bbl. After market globe front sight mounted on integral ramp. Lyman 48WJS receiver sight. Rear bridge has one added hole. Action has prewar safety and cloverleaf tang. Bolt body has no visible SN. Bolt handle is ground for scope clearance. Walnut straight comb stock with hand checkering, checkered steel buttplate and Super Grade stock bases and sling swivels. CONDITION: Good. Bbl and receiver have 90% orig blue. Bolt handle is re-blued. Floorplate, buttplate and trigger guard have worn blue. Stock shows spots of finish loss with scratches and handling marks. Mechanics are fine.
