GORGEOUS CASED BROWNING SEMI-AUTO 22 GRADE III RIFLE. BROWNING 22 AUTO T5835 .22LR MODERN; C&R Cal. 22 LR. 19-1/2" bbl with early wheel sight and normal early Belgium markings. Forearm and buttstock are a beautiful dense grain, highly figured walnut and are skip line checkered. Buttstock with full knob and lined steel buttplate. Gold plated trigger. Receiver is beautifully engraved in typical Grade III pattern with no engraver signature noted. Setter with geese on right, setter with pheasants on left and portrait of setter with fallen rabbit on top all surrounded by floral scroll engraving. Housed in a Browning hard case with brass latches that is appropriate for this gun. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining nearly all orig bbl blue. Buttstock and forearm are superb and retain nearly all of their orig finish. Receiver is excellent with only minor staining noted and retains nearly all of its French gray finish. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Case is excellent with only minor handling marks and some loses to interior. 52472-20 JSL (3,500-5,000) CASED
