SPECIAL ORDER BROWNING SUPERLIGHT "MIDAS" GRADE THREE BARREL SET ENGRAVED BY DEBRUS WITH CASE.BROWNINGOU MIDAS54088S7612,12,203 BBL SET W/CASEMODERN; ESACal. 12/ 12/ and 20 ga. 26-3/8" 12 ga bbls marked for skeet and skeet, and 28" 12 ga bbls marked for mod and full. as well as 26-1/2" 20 ga bbls marked for skeet and skeet, all with matching SNs and marked "1" "2" or "3". All bbl sets have their own dedicated one piece schnabeled forend and have narrow matted ventilated ribs with twin ivory beads. Blued "superlight" action with gold plated single selective trigger is engraved in typical "Midas" style with near full coverage large open shaded scroll surrounding gold inlaid game scenes within flush gold inlaid borders; trio of pheasant on left, with another trio of ducks on right. A quail is on bottom of action. Gold work is above average. Owners name "T. M. Lowe Jr" is on rectangle on left side of action. Engravers signature "J M Debrus" is in right duck scene. Finely crotch figured American walnut straight grip superlight buttstock measures 14-1/4" over skip line checkered wood butt. BBL set "3" 12 ga 28" BBLs: Drop at heel: 2-7/16", drop at comb: 1-1/2". Weight: 7 lbs. 4 oz. LOP: 14-1/4". Gun and bbls are housed in tan vinyl Hartmann case lined in faux fur. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining nearly all factory type finishes on wood and metal surfaces with only a few light handling marks.
