BROWNING SUPERPOSED POINTER GRADE O/U SHOTGUN. BROWNING SUPERPOSED POINTER 48816 V8 20GA MODERN Cal. 20 ga. 26" vent rib bbl with steel bead and 3" chamber. Fixed Skeet and Skeet chokes. French grey finished boxlock action with non automatic top tang safety. Arabesque scroll engraving surrounding game scenes featuring dog and pheasant on right, dog on left, partridge on floorplate and pheasants on trigger guard. Gold-plated SST. Selective ejectors. SN's on frame, bbl and forearm match. Lightning forearm and rnd knob short tang stock of fancy walnut with gloss finish and hand checkering. LOP is 14-1/4" over orig buttplate. Weight is 6lbs.5oz. 1968 Belgian manufacture. CONDITION: Fine. 98% bbl blue. Top tang shows spots of corrosion near contact point with wood.
