FINE CONDITION EARLY TRANSITIONAL MAUSER 98 TYPE "B" COMMERCIAL SPORTING RIFLE.MAUSERBOLT29637x57MODERN; C&RCal. 7x57. Standard configuration with 24" round bbl fitted with tangent curve rear sight. Small ring intermediate length action is of early style. Bolt without detent in shroud and has small gas escape ports. Receiver ring marked with Mauser name and address, and "1900". Standard bottom metal does not have lock screws. Nicely marbled European walnut round knob pistol grip stock has early type panel at action and checkered horn buttplate with small logo. CONDITION: Excellent. Metal parts with 80 - 90% orig blue. Stock with most of its orig finish. Sling loop is missing from bbl. Bore is good, somewhat dark in grooves.
