J.P. SAUER & SON 20 GAUGE SPORTING SHOTGUN.SAUERSxS2905120GAMODERN; C&RCal. 20 ga. 26" fluid steel bbls. 2-3/4" chambers. Chokes mod/full. Full length matted top rib with fluorescent orange front sight, bottom rib with sling swivel. Dbl triggers, extractors, non-automatic safety. Capped pistol grip buttstock with cheek piece and sling swivels checkered in 2-point pattern with 13-7/8" LOP over "Dupont Neoprene" black ventilated pad with unusual 3/8" white and black spacer. Pad and spacer appear to be period use replacement and stock has been shortened. Beavertail forearm checkered in 4-point pattern with Deeley release. Receiver lightly border engraved. All visible SN's match. WEIGHT: 6 lbs, 9 ozs. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain approximately 95% orig blue finish. Buttstock and forearm are excellent and retain most of their orig finish with some light finish added to forearm for preservation. Receiver retains approximately 30% orig case color. Top lever and trigger guard retain about half orig blue. Bores will clean to bright and shiny. Mechanics are fine. 51873-2 JSL (1,200-1,500)
