Case hardened boxlock scallop backed double Kersten action features automatic safety and dbl triggers. Bottom of action is marked "MFRD. FOR" "BAKER & KIMBALL, BOSTON". Nicely figured stock with Monte Carlo comb measures 14-1/4" over leather covered pad. Three piece ejector forend has Deeley release. Bore diameter: top -.625, bottom - .628. Bore restrictions: top - .022 (mod), bottom - .011 (lt mod). Wall thickness: top - .019, bottom - .022. Drop at heel: 2-3/8", drop at rear of Monte Carlo: 1-3/4", drop at comb: 1-1/2". Cast about 3/8" off. Weight: 5 lbs. 13 oz. LOP: 14-1/4". CONDITION: Fine, as refinished, retaining over 80% renewed finishes on all wood and metal parts, with subsequent silvering and light marks.
