Full length top rib with steel front bead, rib marked "Cogswell & Harrison Ltd. The Avant Tout" with address and "Constructed for Parker & Co." Dbl triggers, automatic ejectors, automatic safety. Round knob pistol grip buttstock checkered in 2-point pattern with 14-3/8" LOP over lined checkered butt. Splinter forearm near fully checkered with engraved steel tip. Action is nicely scroll engraved with about 60% coverage. Assisted opener. All visible SN's match. Bore diameter: left -.732, right - .733. Bore restrictions: left - .032 (Full), right - .018 (MOD). Wall thickness: left - .029, right - .031 . Drop at heel: 2-7/16", drop at comb: 1-9/16". Cast about 5/8" off. Weight: 6 lbs. 8 oz. LOP: 14-3/8". CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain approximately 95-97% restored blued finish with scattered light handling marks and small areas of minor scratches on right tube. Buttstock and forearm have been restored and retain most of their custom finish. Receiver has toned gray with no orig case color remaining. There is minor play in the top lever. Trigger guard and top lever have been re-blued. Bores are very good with minor orange peel. Mechanics are functional. 51931-3 JSL (2,000-2,500)
