JOHN DUBIEL (EX HOFFMANN) CUSTOM RIFLE BUILT ON MAGNUM MAUSER SQUARE BRIDGE ACTION WITH SCOPE.DUBIELBOLT 9882868 (on action visible when removed from stock)300 H&H MagW/G&H MOUNT, SCOPEMODERN; C&RCal. .300 H&H Mag. This fine custom rifle made by John Dubiel who was one of the top men at the old Hoffmann Arms, and who continued at their premises, has 26" bbl with integral quarter rib, and is marked with makers name and "ARDMORE. OKLA" on top, and with caliber and no. "506" on rib. Magnum square commercial bridge Mauser action is fitted with flip-up peep sight dovetailed through bridge and G&H side mount. Magnum drop box bottom metal has release button in bow. Well streaked dense European walnut steel capped pistol grip stock is fitted with Silver type pad, and has nicely sculpted shadow line cheekpiece, and well cut point pattern checkering along with a horn forend tip. Lyman Alaskan scope with crosshair reticle is in G&H rings. Weight without scope: 9 lbs. 4 oz. LOP: 14". CONDITION: Fine to very fine, retaining most of its orig blue with areas silvering on bbl, considerably silvered and browned on bottom metal. Stock retains most of what appears to be its orig oil finish with a number of marks, checkering lightly worn. Bore is excellent. Action smooth.
