WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 ROUND BARREL FULL MAGAZINE TAKEDOWN RIFLE. WINCHESTER 1886 143572 33WCF MODERN; C&R; ESA Cal. 33 WCF. 24" rnd bbl, full magazine, takedown, full blue finish. Lyman ivory bead front sight, sporting rear sight. Straight grain American walnut stocks with shotgun buttplate. Bbl is rolled with 2-line Winchester address in front of rear sight. Cal. is marked at breech end. Upper tang is marked "MODEL 1886 / WINCHESTER / TRADEMARK". Lower tang has SN stamped behind lever. Patent mark is stamped under lever. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl and magazine tube retain 70% dull blue finish with some bbl wear toward the muzzle and few scratch marks overall. Bbl markings are sharp. Sights are very good. Bore is dark with visible rifling. Receiver retains 20% blue finish that has drifted to a silver/brown patina overall. Bolt retains 80% blue. Hammer and lever are a silver/grey patina with case colors showing in protected areas. All markings are sharp. Stocks are very good full sized and show an old varnish refinish. Stocks have minor handling marks overall. Buttplate is very good with sharp checkering, clear logo and a few small dents on left side. Forend cap retains 50% blue with the balance turning silver. Mechanics are crisp.
