WINCHESTER MODEL 94 PRE-64 CUSTOM ENGRAVED LEVER ACTION CARBINE. WINCHESTER 94 CARBINE 2267304 30/30 MODERN; C&R Cal. 30/30. 20" bbl. Top of bbl is engraved "JOHN WARREN EASTHAM, MASS.". John Warren was one of America's finest engravers in the mid 20th century. Ramp mounted bead front sight with hood and elevator adjustable rear sight. Full magazine. Action as full coverage custom hand engraving with game scenes featuring gold inlaid bear on right side and gold inlaid running whitetail buck on left side. Balance of receiver sides along with top and bottom edges have arabesque scroll engraving. The engraving also extends to breech bolt, top tang, floorplate and lever. Short wood walnut forearm with straight grip stock with checkered buttplate. Forearm and wrist of stock have custom borderless point pattern wrap around hand checkering. CONDITION: Extremely fine as refinished. Bbl, mag tube and action retain 99% finely hand polished custom blue. Stocks have sharp checkering and good finish showing a few small marks.
